SUCCESS HAS A NEW ADDRESS: EXTENDED CAMPUS COMING SOON TO GREENVILLE LOCATION

Greenville scLimestone College will relocate one of its Extended Campus Classroom sites from Greer to Greenville later this year, school officials have announced.

The satellite classroom will move to a 4,337 square foot space at the intersection of Pleasantburg Drive and Interstate 385, according to Dr. Mark Reger, Limestone’s Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.

“We’ve been looking to move for a long time, and this is the right time,” said Dr. Reger, who noted that Limestone plans to accommodate initially 50 to 60 students at the Greenville location. “Greenville is a growing area, and we believe that, in order to really be serviceable to students in Greenville and Spartanburg, the Greenville site is optimum because we have a much larger facility and so can serve our students better.”

LIMESTONE JOINS EFFORT TO OBSERVE NATIONAL DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT AWARENESS MONTH

Limestone College today announced its participation in National Disability Employment Awareness Month, an annual awareness campaign that takes place each October. In 1962, the word "physically" was removed to acknowledge the employment needs and contributions of individuals with all types of disabilities. In 1988, Congress expanded the week to a month and changed the name to National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
