Limestone University’s Master of Social Work Program is hosting its inaugural “End The Silence On Violence” conference on Wednesday, Oct. 19, inside the Hines & Riggins Center on campus.
The conference on the various aspects of the issue of domestic violence will begin at 9 a.m., with a continental breakfast starting at 8:15 p.m. The public is invited to attend, and admission is free.
Guest speakers will include Daniel Francis, Director of Community Values & Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Limestone; Jozlyn Phillips, Community Health Advocate for Project R.E.S.T.; Drew Meritt, Outreach and Demand Coordinator for Switch; Danielle Berry, Campus Forensic Nurse Liaison for Spartanburg Regional Hospital System; and Lieutenant Daniel Huggin, S.C. President for the National Association of Campus Safety Administrators and Limestone’s Campus Police Department.
