Graduations Provide Positive Impact On Local Economy

The direct spending by local colleges on goods and services, as well as capital improvements, is huge, but that doesn’t begin to take into account the money spent by students, visitors, and employees in hotels, restaurants and stores.

Limestone College students and their families, visiting athletic teams and their fans, and others converge on Gaffney year-round, but every May and December they convene at one of the city’s largest conventions -- known as commencements at Limestone College!

This past weekend, we had guests from as far away as France and Zimbabwe attend one of our commencements held on our campus inside Fullerton Auditorium.
