The Limestone College men’s and women’s basketball teams are both ready for their close up on Saturday, Jan. 30, when they face the University of Mount Olive as part of the NCAA Division II National Showcase on the American Sports Network.
The nationally fifth-ranked women’s basketball team will tip off the national broadcast at 4 p.m. live from the Kornagay Arena on the campus of Mount Olive, followed by the men’s game at 6 p.m.
For those looking to watch the broadcast, both contests of the doubleheader will be televised across the United States on Tuff TV through a variety of digital subchannels.

The Limestone women’s basketball team is making its third national television appearance, with the first two being previously aired on the CBS College Sports Network. The Saints are 1-1 in nationally televised games, defeating Mount Olive 74-68 on January of 2011, before falling to California Baptist last season in the NCAA Division II National Semifinals.
On the men’s side, Limestone will be making its first national television appearance. The Saints’ last appearance on television was a regional contest in the early 1980s when they competed in the WBTV Carolinas Classic in Charlotte.
