Alumni and friends of Limestone can now promote The University everywhere they go as they display the unique Limestone University license tag. Purchase of the tag also helps fund scholarship and enrichment programs. When you purchase the Limestone plates for $70, plus registration fee, $40 is returned to The University.

Upgrade To The Specialty Limestone University Plate!
Show your Limestone Pride while you drive! Whether you’re cruising down I-85 or traveling across the country, you can show your school spirit by displaying a Limestone University specialty plate on your vehicle. All proceeds from the Limestone license plate program fund academic enhancement, including scholarships and private fundraising activities. The specialty plate is available through the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV).

Limestone University license plates are $70 every two years in addition to the registration fee. A portion of the special plate fee, $40, goes to Limestone for scholarships. You may use the Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) to apply for this plate. This plate can be purchased for cars or light trucks with an empty weight of 9,000 pounds or less and a gross vehicle weight of 11,000 pounds or less.
