Frank Watson has been a fixture in the music scene of upstate South Carolina for nearly 50 years. As a music student at Furman University, Frank was given the opportunity to try the Bassoon, six weeks later he was playing in the Greenville Symphony, and held a position in that Orchestra until 2015. A versatile multi-woodwind performer, Frank has performed with a variety of musical acts including The Temptations, The Four Tops, Franki Valli and the Four Seasons, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight and the Pips, as well as Spartanburg and Greenville Little Theater productions. Frank is an avid golfer, and won the 2006 Spartanburg County Senior Gol Championship. He continues a busy teaching schedule at Limestone and Converse Colleges, and continues to perform with the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
