To better serve Limestone alumni, parents, and friends of the College, the Department of Communications has announced a new publication schedule for its two annual magazines.
Limestone Today will be published each year in August. Limestone Today is an all-encompassing magazine that shares many of the major campus developments, feature articles, class notes, graduation lists, and more.
The Report to Investors will be published each January to highlight Limestone’s honor roll of donors, while also providing feature articles and testimonials about how giving impacts the College and its students.
This next issue of Limestone Today will be published in early September and will include updates and information over the past six months. The Winter 2016 edition of Limestone Today distributed in January also included the Report To Investors. Moving forward, the two magazines will be issued separately.
Both publications will continue to be available online at www.issuu.com, a website that enables visitors to access and download publications worldwide at no charge.
“With creative and informative content complemented by unique design elements and vibrant photography, our two annual magazines help alumni and friends across the nation and the world stay connected and engaged with Limestone,” said Charles Wyatt, Director of Communications (seen in accompanying photo). “Two years ago we redesigned the magazines in an effort to make them more visually appealing with quality writing. With each publication, we work diligently to produce a product better than the last. This newly adopted publication schedule will enable us to strategically use our resources even better to emphasize the strength and value of a private liberal arts education at Limestone College.”
K.C. Barnill is the Assistant Director of Communications for Publications and Graphic Design, and Wyatt said he has been instrumental in the re-design of the two magazines.
The Department of Communications recently switched to an improved email marketing service to better suit the needs of Limestone’s Institutional Advancement office in regard to fundraising and special event promotion to alumni and friends of the College.
A new and improved provider for media relations has also been obtained to monitor local and national print, online, broadcast, and social media services.
“Our goal is to get the right messages about Limestone College to the right audiences at the right time,” Wyatt explained. “These enhancements will help us build and strengthen Limestone’s role and reputation as a leader in higher education.”
