Limestone College conducted two football camps on Thursday, July 14, and two more are scheduled for next week.
The Mike Furrey Little League Camp was held during the morning, while the Limestone College Football High School Prospect Camp was conducted in the afternoon of July 14. Furrey, a former NFL standout and assistant coach at Marshall University, is entering his first season as the Saints' head coach.
The D.J. Shockley Passing, Receiving & Defensive Backs Academy is scheduled at Limestone July 19-21. Shockey is the former quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL, and the University of Georgia.
The Charles Johnson & Kony Ealy Carolina Panthers Camp is slated for July 21-24 at Limestone. Johnson and Ealy are both defensive ends for the Panthers. Several other NFL players are expected to take part in the camp, including Panthers defensive tackle Kyle Love.
