Limestone University senior clarinetist Gabriel Hill will present his senior recital on Tuesday, October 27, starting at 7:30 p.m. inside Fullerton Auditorium.
Admission to the recital is free of charge, and due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all Center for Disease Control & Prevention guidelines and physical distancing protocols will be followed.
The performance by Hill is being sponsored by the Limestone University Department of Music.
Hill will be performing the “Poulenc Clarinet Sonata,” “Bach's Cello Suite No. 2,” and the “Brahms Clarinet Trio.” The recital will allow Hill to fulfill one of his requirements as a Music Education major, assisting him in graduating.
“This performance is meant to demonstrate everything I have learned as a Music student at Limestone,” Hill said. “I would like to thank the University’s Music Department for their role in this event.”
A senior Music Education major, Hill will soon complete his time at Limestone. His main concentration for the past 14 years has been the clarinet, and he will use the skills learned over that time in his future endeavors. His goals beyond Limestone include obtaining a master’s degree in music composition, teaching high school band, and possibly obtaining a doctoral degree.
