Good Vibes, Great People: Why Danielle Hanley Chose Limestone

Meet Danielle Hanley, a sophomore from Sumter, South Carolina majoring in Health Sciences. We were excited recently to ask her what made her choose Limestone University.

 

"Before choosing a college, I visited several campuses, but I wasn’t sure which one felt right. People close to me often said, 'When you know, you’ll know.' The moment I stepped onto the campus of Limestone University, I knew this was the place for me. From the tight-knit, welcoming atmosphere to the incredible people I met, everything about Limestone felt like the perfect fit. Although I originally came here for softball, I quickly realized Limestone offers much more -- it’s a place where lasting friendships and bonds are built.

"The sense of community at Limestone is something I love the most. Everyone knows each other or at least recognizes familiar faces. Whether I'm dining in the cafeteria or walking to class, it's rare not to run into someone I've met. The small campus size not only fosters that connection but also means the classrooms are more intimate, making learning and asking for help so much easier."

 

"One of my favorite memories is dining with my teammates after practice. It’s the highlight of my day -- where we all squeeze around a small, round table in the dining hall, elbow to elbow. We laugh, share stories, and simply enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and carefree setting. It’s moments like these that I’ll always treasure."
