The Limestone Activities Board will host a Fall Festival on Saturday, November 9, from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on the University’s front campus.
The event is free for the Limestone campus community and local residents. In case of rain, the festival will be moved inside the Hines & Riggins Center.
The Fall Festival will include food trucks, music, games, tie dye station, and more. There will also be numerous local business vendors on hand.
“This event has been created and organized by our students here at Limestone,” said Marcus Cunningham, the University’s new Director of Student Activities. “One of the things I want to do in my position is to have things for our students to do, but to also involve our local community and to give back. The Limestone Activities Board members have done a wonderful job by putting their heads together to create something special, and hopefully this Fall Festival will become an annual event for everyone in Gaffney and Cherokee County. Our students Donny Purcell, Grace Oluwafimidara, Carlee Ayers, and Simon Zahalka have done an amazing job. We can’t wait to see everyone on campus this Saturday.”
The food trucks from the Fall Festival will also be on hand during Limestone’s basketball games. The women’s team takes on King University at 5 p.m., while the men’s squad hosts Georgia Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. Game tickets can be purchased at www.GoLimestoneSaints.com/tickets.
