Limestone Celebrates Record-Breaking Success Of Annual “Saints Giving” Event

Saints Giving 2025 Results

Limestone University’s recent Saints Giving campaign reached new heights, setting all-time records for both dollars raised and number of individual gifts during the 24-hour giving event.

This year’s campaign held on March 19 generated more than $130,000 from 398 gifts, making it the most successful Saints Giving in Limestone’s history. Contributions came from alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends of the University, with support spanning across the country.

“This year’s results speak volumes about the level of engagement and connection among our campus community,” said Limestone President Dr. Nathan Copeland. “We could not have done it without the collective support behind this effort. That kind of generosity helps us deliver a stronger Limestone experience for our students – both today and in the years ahead.

“This wasn’t just a fundraiser – it was a movement,” he continued. “Every gift told a story, and together, those stories became a powerful reminder of what makes Limestone special.”

Funds raised during Saints Giving will directly impact academic initiatives, campus enhancements, and athletic programs – ensuring the University continues to thrive and grow.

The record-breaking campaign also highlighted the growing spirit of engagement among Limestone’s Saints family, with increased participation from first-time donors and young alumni.

“We saw strong momentum throughout the day, both online and here on campus,” said Stacy Aldrich, Limestone’s Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “We had so many gifts coming in through our website, and we were just amazed by the number of community members who took the time to drop by our Saints Giving headquarters set-up inside the Hines & Riggins Center to make their donations. Every gift helped us reach a new milestone, and we are grateful to everyone who made it possible. The energy, passion, and commitment from our supporters lit up the day and reminded us of the power of coming together for a common cause.”

Aldrich added that annual giving days like Saints Giving play a vital role in supporting the University’s mission and momentum. While the 24-hour campaign highlights the collective power of the Saints community, ongoing support throughout the year is equally important in sustaining scholarships, strengthening academic and athletic programs, and providing resources that directly impact student success. “Every gift – no matter the size or timing – helps move Limestone forward,” she noted.
