A total of five new members were recently elected to the Limestone College Board of Trustees and will serve five-year terms beginning on July 1.
“Limestone is proud to welcome new and returning Trustees,” said Limestone President Dr. Darrell Parker. “We are fortunate to have dedicated alumni and friends of the College who are strongly committed to the institution and its mission. These individuals play a tremendous role in helping lead Limestone toward its future goals. I thank each of them for contributing their time and talents to the advancement of the College.”
The Limestone College Board of Trustees Class of 2024 includes:
Julius “(Jules”) J. Anderson, Jr., who resides in Charleston, is the Managing Member of Anderson Insurance Associates, LLC, a Best Practices Agency that represents some of the largest companies in the United States. The company also has offices in James Island, Pawley’s Island, Greenville, and Aiken.
A graduate of Limestone College who has served two terms as a Trustee in the past, he is the past chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of South Carolina and he has served on several major insurance company advisory boards. He has also served on the S.C. Department of Insurance Coastal Property Task Force. He is a past board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of America.
Paul W. Fleming, a resident of Charlotte, is the Owner/President of Prosource Packaging, Inc.
A graduate of Limestone, Fleming has served as a member of the Flexible Packaging Association and as a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals. He has been an Alumni Association Board Member and a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Limestone.
J. Brian Honeycutt, who resides in Spartanburg, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Gibbs International, Inc. He is responsible for the management and operations of the corporate office and sister offices in Germany, Thailand, Philippines, and Brazil.
A graduate of Limestone, he served in the past as the Facilities Maintenance Manager with the Cherokee School District. Honeycutt was a member of the United States Air Force and served three tours of Vietnam. He is a retired Master Sergeant with the North Carolina Air National Guard. He is a former Board member for the Cherokee County YMCA and he is a member of the Air Force Sergeant Association and Vietnam Veterans Association. Honeycutt is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jimmy & Marsha Gibbs Foundation.
Dr. Anna A. Moss, who resides in Gaffney, is the Chief Executive Officer for Moss Medical Institute and Spa with locations in Gaffney and Newberry. She is also a Member/CEO of Gaffney Family Physicians/Carolina Neuropathy Center. In addition, she is the CEO Moss Real Properties and Member/CEO of Moss Medical Research Institute.
Moss completed her Doctorate in Medicine Studies from the University of Science, Art and Technology in Tampa. She studied Doctorate Pharmacy at the University of South Carolina and earned her undergraduate degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
She is a member of the Cherokee County Economic Development Board, Cherokee County Community Foundation, and Rotary Club of Gaffney. She is also President-Elect for S.C. Business & Professional Women. She has also served on the Board of the European-American Chamber of Commerce Planning Committee.
Randall L. Richardson, who resides in Asheville, is a Healthcare consultant. Most recently, he was the Director, Healthcare Vertical Market, for Honeywell International. Before he was recruited to Honeywell, Richardson co-founded Alpha Healthcare Solutions (AHS) with two physician partners. AHS is a management-consulting firm that addresses the growing demand for Healthcare Reform through improving operational efficiency for small and medium sized healthcare providers.
Prior to joining the team at AHS, he was the Vice President, Global Healthcare Solutions, for Lanco Global Systems Inc., a global and publicly traded IT Services Provider focusing on customers’ strategic initiatives and delivering customized solutions to maximize utility through the integration of patient care pathways, administrative, financial, and clinical systems. Clients included Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
Mr. Richardson is a native of Asheville, North Carolina. He is a graduate from Montreat College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is also a graduate from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is Fellow at The American College of Healthcare Executives. He serves on the Board of Directors for Crossnore School. Richardson has received “Special Congressional Recognition” for Outstanding Community Service and Healthcare Leadership and the NAACP President’s Award for Corporate Leadership in Diversity.
Richardson is serving his second term on the Limestone Board of Trustees.
Also, Carolyn H. Borders and Vera J. Mitchell were each given Senior Trustee status.
