Limestone Named One of Best Online Liberal Arts Colleges

Limestone College was recently designated as being one of the best online liberal arts institutions in the nation for bachelor’s degrees.

The well-known online publication College Choice ranks Limestone as having the 35th best online liberal arts bachelor’s program in the United States.

“Limestone College has a faculty that largely holds terminal degrees in their field,” the website noted. “The school also offers small class sizes as well as individualized attention from faculty. This school offers 38 majors in four departments of study and the undergraduate and graduate level. It is best known for the Program for Alternative Learning Styles, a program that was created to help support students with learning disabilities complete their chosen degrees.

“Limestone has a healthy serving on online degrees to choose from on their online portal, including a liberal arts degree,” it continued. “The degree, which requires students to complete online coursework on a set schedule, is available as either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science and is the most popular degree on the portal.”

Limestone was the only school from South Carolina ranked in the Top 50. Oregon State University was recognized as the best online liberal arts institution in the nation.
