Limestone College’s Department of Theatre will present “Valley of the Shadow” during a three-show run November 1-3.
Show time is at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2. There will be a 3 p.m. performance on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Limestone Theatre is located at 130 Leadmine Street in Gaffney.
“Valley of the Shadow” is a devised piece created by the students of Limestone College Theatre. It is an exploration of life and death, through those connected to hospice. This unique experience was created through interviews with hospice care workers, families, and members of the College and Gaffney communities.
“Audiences should expect a great production that the students have devised on their own,” said Assistant Professor of Theatre Bill West-Davis. “There is not one sole playwright that’s credited. This production will impact any who have dealt with the loss of a family member or friend, along with anyone they may know that would be in hospice care.”
Advance tickets are available online at showtix4u.com. Adult tickets are $12 each, while student and senior citizen tickets are $10 each. Limestone faculty, staff, and students will be admitted for free with current college ID. Tickets will also be available at the box office one hour prior to each performance.
