Limestone University To Crown Homecoming King & Queen On November 9

Limestone University will crown a Homecoming Queen and King on Saturday, Nov. 9, during halftime of the football team’s game against Barton College. Kickoff is set for 12 noon.

The Homecoming Court was determined by student votes and the candidates’ involvement during Homecoming Week, which took place at the end of September. Due to Hurricane Helene, the presentation of the Homecoming Court was postponed until halftime of this Saturday’s game against Barton.

The candidates for Limestone University Homecoming Queen 2024 are:

Zoria Shivers: Junior Pre-Biology and Psychology major and member of the Limestone dance team from Indian Land, SC. Her candidacy is sponsored by the Limestone Dance Team.

Brianna Botello: Junior Business Administration major from Easley, SC. Botello serves campus as an Orientation Leader, Student Ambassador, a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative, and is a member of the cheer team. Her candidacy is sponsored by the Orientation Leaders.

Brooklyn Higginbotham: Junior Psychology major from Greer, SC. She serves as the Vice President of the Honors College, is a writing center tutor, an Honors College mentor, and a member of Psi Chi. Her candidacy is sponsored by the Limestone Honors College.

Alycia Lefcowitz: Senior Health Science major from Pittsburgh, PA. Lefcowitz is a member of the Limestone Honors College and the Limestone acrobatics and tumbling team. Her candidacy is sponsored by the acrobatics and tumbling team.

Kalisha Hill: Senior Exercise Science major from Saluda, SC. Hill is a member of both the women’s basketball team and the track and field team. Her candidacy is sponsored by the women’s basketball team.

Taylor Jenkins: Senior from Charleston SC. She is a Health Care Administration major with a minor in Business Administration. She is a member of the softball team, Orientation Staff, and a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative. Her candidacy is sponsored by the softball team.

The candidates for Limestone University Homecoming King 2024 are:

Grayson Peavy: Junior Nursing major from Lancaster, SC. Peavy is a part of the Limestone cheer team and his candidacy is sponsored by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Andon Rogers: Junior Business Administration major from Easley, SC. He is a member of the football team, a Student Ambassador, and a part of the Real Men Lead program. His candidacy is sponsored by the Real Men Lead program.

Peter Adams: Senior Business Administration major with a concentration in Marketing and member of the Limestone baseball team from North Augusta, SC. His candidacy is sponsored by the baseball team.

Jynez Davis: Sophomore Sport Business major with a minor in Pre-Physical Therapy. He is from Leggett, NC. Davis is a Polemarch/President of the Nu Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, an Orientation and LAUNCH Leader, a mentor for the Real Men Lead program, a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee member, and a member of the Black Student Union. His candidacy is sponsored by Summer Orientation and LAUNCH Staff.

John Shivers: Junior Professional Communications major from Greenville, SC. Shivers is a part of the track and field team, serves as a Real Men Lead mentor, and is a Residence Assistant. His candidacy is sponsored by the Housing Department.
