Brett Schenning, an adjunct professor at Limestone College, recently had selections from one of his art series exhibited at South Carolina State University.
The selections were from Schenning’s series “Not Far From Here.” The exhibition was on view October 1-29 at the Fine Arts Building Gallery on the SCSU campus in Orangeburg. There was an artist talk and closing reception on October 27.
“We are thrilled to have Professor Schenning as part of our Art Department,” said Carolyn Ford, the Department Chairperson at Limestone. “He brings a vast knowledge of photography, design, and video, which allows Art and Communications to better connect. His expertise also helps us to expand our fine arts offerings.”
Schenning currently teaches a wide range of courses for the Limestone Art Department, including Photography, 2D Design, Art Appreciation, Art History, and various directed study sections. He utilizes both dark room and digital works in his art.
Schenning earned his Master of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design, with an emphasis in photography.
