Seat Reservations/Advising Now Open For Summer Terms & 2020-2021 Academic Year

Current Limestone College Day Campus students, beginning today (March 23), can reserve their spots for the upcoming summer sessions and the 2020-2021 academic year.

Those Limestone students are encouraged to log-in to their LC Portal to study available classes and build their schedules. Students are urged to sign-up as early as possible because classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

On the LC Portal, students can choose from a variety of possibilities in their degree areas, compare courses, and find the right classes. Students should connect with their faculty advisors to build and finalize their academic schedules. Students will receive an email from their advisor with information on how to schedule their advising appointment.

Additional financial aid funding is available for classes during the online summer terms for those students who want to fast-track their graduations, make up academic deficiencies, or restore eligibility for the start of the fall semester.

In addition to be more affordable, another advantage to summer terms is that the courses are shorter. Rather than being a semester long, they are only about half the normal time of a traditional class in the fall or spring. Students can get those classes out of the way faster and still have time to fit in all their fun summer plans. If students are behind on credits or need to re-take a class, summer is the perfect time to do it. It’s faster and won’t get in the way of their regular schedules.

The first of two summer sessions will begin on May 4.

Students can also now reserve their seats for the ifall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters. The fall semester will begin on August 17, 2020, with the spring semester getting underway on January 4, 2021.
