Limestone University's wind ensemble will host a concerto concert on Thursday, March 3, at 7 p.m., inside Fullerton Auditorium, featuring the talents of student winners from the inaugural concerto competition.
Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
Christopher Blount will give a trumpet performance of Herbert Clack's "Carnival of Venice." Hunter Lanier will perform Oscar Navarro's "Legacy" on oboe. Dr. Seth Taft, Director of Instrumental Music, is directing the concert.
There will be additional performances by James Robinson on xylophone (Charles Owens' "Chopsticks") and Dr. Chip Hill on clarinet (Carl Maria von Weber's "Concertino in E-Flat, Op.26").
