The Dual Enrollment Program at Limestone University is intended to complement the high school experience and to provide personal enrichment by allowing students to begin exploring new subject areas and earn college credit. Students will be better prepared for the academic and behavioral expectations of college, more engaged and motivated, and will save on college tuition at the same time.
These courses may or may not be used to satisfy high school graduation requirements. With over 100 years of higher education history, we are ranked as one of the best regional universities in the South by both U.S. News & World Report and The Princeton Review.
Dual enrollment courses are taught by Limestone faculty – all of whom meet our accreditation credentialing standards (SACSCOC).
LU dual-credit courses are specifically designed to transfer into any four-year institution in the country, whether public or private. Limestone University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS) to award baccalaureate, and master’s degrees, and many of our programs have additional rigorous accreditation. Though it is always up to the discretion of the receiving university whether to accept credits for transfer, any university accepting transfer credits should also accept LU dual-enrollment credits.
