Limestone University Announces Groundbreaking Tuition Discount Initiatives For Online Students & Military Members

Limestone University is making it even more affordable for those pursuing a college degree online.

In another step to increase access and affordability for students and families, Limestone Online – formerly known as the University’s Online & Graduate Program – has announced two major initiatives to help make the dream of a degree become a reality.

In an extraordinary move, Limestone is reducing tuition costs across the board for its accredited online undergraduate degree program. At the same time, the University has announced that its current military discount, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, is expanding to include spouses as well.

Beginning with its next online term that starts on May 6, Limestone Online’s tuition costs will drop from $479 per credit hour down to $389, representing a price decrease of nearly 20 percent.

In addition, effective immediately, military spouses can now enjoy the same discounted online tuition rate provided to military members. That reduces current spousal tuition from $479 to $248 per credit hour, which cuts the cost of their education by nearly half.

Spouses will also receive the $100 per credit hour military discount for Limestone’s accredited online graduate program.

Limestone Online’s military discounts are now available to Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard service members and their spouses.

Limestone has been chosen as a silver level “Military Friendly School” by Viqtory Media in back-to-back years. New “Military Friendly School” designations and level selections for 2024-2025 are expected to be announced soon.

That has been a proud theme throughout the history of Limestone. Lowering our online tuition costs is another step we are taking to make the pursuit of a degree both accessible and affordable.

We are providing this extra benefit to let our military students know that they are a priority at Limestone. We understand that access to higher education for a military student has different challenges than a traditional student. Our goal is to make Limestone University the best possible choice for military students and their families.”
