Limestone University’s football team will conclude spring practice with its annual “Blue & White Game” that will take place at Saints Field on Saturday, April 13, starting at 2 p.m.
The Saints of first-year head coach Jerricho Cotchery will use the final practice session to simulate an actual game with a standard scoring system.
Admission into the “Blue & White Game” is free. Tailgate and parking lots will open at 10 a.m., along with access into the stadium. Seating is limited and fans are permitted to bring bag chairs into the stadium. Bag chairs are not allowed along walkways.
Clary Family Practice Field tailgate lot general admission spots are $25 per vehicle. A limited number of front row Platinum level reserved tailgate spaces are available for $100 each, along with a limited number of second row Gold level tailgate spots at $50 each. All tailgate lot spaces must be ordered online in advance. They can be purchased beginning on Monday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at www.GoLimestoneSaints.com/tickets.
Parking in non-tailgating lots on other areas of the campus will be free. Limestone’s nearby maintenance facility and the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Pavilion parking lots will be reserved exclusively for recruits and their families who will be in attendance.
Glass containers are prohibited in the tailgate lot and throughout the stadium. All music at any tailgating site must be kept at a volume that does not interfere with others or with the game. Propane grills are allowed, but charcoal grills, open flame fires, including fire pits, are prohibited. Alcohol consumption in the tailgate lot by anyone under the age of 21 is unlawful. Starting at 12 noon, several food trucks will be open for the “Blue & White Game,” along with concessions areas. Outside food and non-alcohol drinks will be permitted inside the stadium.
The Trackside Taproom will open the Saints Field Beverage Garden at 12 noon. All alcoholic beverages purchased from Trackside Taproom must be consumed inside the beverage garden, which will be in the end zone area on the scoreboard side of the stadium.
Limestone’s Spirit Store merchandise trailer will be open inside the stadium beginning at 12 noon.
The Saints Club will be raffling off items to raise funds to further support Limestone’s athletic teams and student-athletes.
Cotchery was named as the Saints’ head coach in February. For the past two seasons, he served as Limestone’s assistant head coach and wide receivers coach as the Saints compiled a combined record of 16-8 and qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship playoffs in back-to-back years. From 2022-2023, Limestone recorded a collective South Atlantic Conference record of 15-3 and was crowned co-champions of the Piedmont Division both seasons.
