Limestone University Names Stacy Aldrich Vice President For Institutional Advancement

Limestone University recently named Stacy Aldrich as its new Vice President for Institutional Advancement, assigning her the role of leading Limestone’s fundraising into the future.

Aldrich came to Limestone earlier this year from Novant Health, where she had most recently served as the Senior Director of Corporate Relations.

“I am honored to join Limestone University during this transformative time and to work alongside our President Dr. Nathan Copeland, the administration, and the Board of Trustees,” she said. “I knew that Limestone was special the first time I visited campus and more so when I learned about our first-generation students. It is a privilege to work with our alumni, faculty, staff, and the local community members who are dedicated to this beloved place.”

Some of the highlights of Aldrich’s extensive career in higher education include serving for two years as a Senior Advisor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, starting in 2006, before moving into Industry and Alumni Outreach. Tasked with starting a new division, Aldrich was relocated to California, where she met with industries, alumni, and donors on the West Coast to discuss scholarships, sponsorships, jobs, and mentorship opportunities. After several years, she was relocated to Charlotte to manage the program across the United States.

Aldrich became the Director of Alumni Relations at Queens University of Charlotte in 2016. She then took a position at the American Heart Association in 2017, first as a Senior Director and then the Vice President of Development, overseeing major giving from individual donors across the Southeast. Four years later, the Make-a-Wish Foundation offered Aldrich the opportunity to start a new program and redevelop fundraising efforts for their central North Carolina office as the Chief Development Officer.

“I have never met such caring kind people, not just from the community, but here at the institution,” Aldrich noted regarding her new position at Limestone. “There is this level of kindness; it is truly a family atmosphere.

“We are also enthusiastic about invigorating our alumni relationships, whether here on campus or in nearby communities as we travel to major markets and meet with our esteemed graduates,” she added. “I know I speak for our entire Institutional Advancement team, and the University as a whole, when I say that we are so excited about Limestone and the future of our amazing students.”

Aldrich received her bachelor's degree in public relations from Georgia Southern University and earned her master’s in arts administration from Savannah College of Art and Design.
