Limestone University’s Presidential Inauguration will take place this Friday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m., inside Fullerton Auditorium.
The ceremony that was originally scheduled for September 27 to welcome Dr. Nathan Copeland as Limestone’s 24th President was postponed due to inclement weather.
Following the ceremony this Friday, an inauguration luncheon for special guests will be held inside the Hines & Riggins Center.
Copeland, who took office in May of this year, was officially introduced as Limestone’s new President during a press conference on April 25.
“We are so excited to have a new date for the inauguration, and we look forward to many Limestone students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, community members, and delegates from other academic institutions joining us for this celebration,” said Randall L. Richardson, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees. “We are looking forward to gathering together as a Limestone community to officially welcome President Copeland.”
The inauguration will be streamed live, with a viewing link available on the www.limestone.edu website and the University’s social media sites.
Copeland received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Harding and his Doctor of Education degree from the University of Alabama.
Copeland and his wife Erin have four children, Kate, Colin, William, and Grant.
