Spring Jazz & Chamber Ensembles Concert

The Limestone University Music Department will present its Spring Jazz and Chamber Ensembles Concert at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, in Fullerton Auditorium.

The performance is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature a variety of small ensembles, including the Percussion Ensemble, directed by adjunct professor Del Burton; the Woodwind Ensemble, led by Dr. Chip Hill; the Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Gena Poovey; and the Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Michael Langer.

The program will span multiple musical genres, ranging from classical and pop to jazz and funk. The ensembles are composed of music majors, non-majors, university alumni, community musicians and faculty members.

The event highlights the department’s emphasis on collaborative performance and musical diversity, offering a dynamic mix of styles and talent from across the Limestone community.
