Andrea Allison, Limestone College’s Director for Accessibility and Program for Alternative Learning Styles, has been appointed to the Board of South Carolina Women in Higher Education (SCWHE).
For the past three years, Allison has served as the Institutional Representative for SCWHE. She will now be serving as the Institutional Representative Chair.
South Carolina Women in Higher Education works to provide exceptional professional development opportunities to promising women employed in South Carolina’s higher education institutions. SCWHE also provides opportunities to women for professional networking.
In addition to her work with SCWHE, Allison serves on the Disability and Special Needs Board at Limestone College. She is licensed as a Professional Counselor by the state of South Carolina and certified nationally as a Rehabilitation Counselor.
A native of Cherokee County, where she volunteers with the Cherokee County Humane Society, Allison currently resides in Gaffney with her husband and two children.
