Limestone College Masters of Business Administration Director Dr. Shannon Creighton will be moderating a Young Professional Development and Success workshop at the Pique event in Taylors, South Carolina on March 22.
The Pique, hosted by Ten at the Top, aims to join young professionals from across Upstate South Carolina in an attempt to help impact the community and region.
The event will take place at Southern Bleachery, located at 250 Mill Street in Taylors. Registration and networking begin at 1:15 p.m. with various workshops throughout the afternoon, including Creighton’s at 3:35 p.m.
The Young Professional Development and Success workshop discusses the importance of young professional development and methods to achieve success early in a person’s career.
Creighton became MBA Director at Limestone in 2016 after eight years at Appalachian State University. He received his Doctor of Business Administration in International Business from Walden University in 2017. He holds an MBA and Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State.
The ten-county Upstate region represented at the Pique event includes Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg and Union counties. Ten at the Top, a nonprofit organization, was created to provide an opportunity for young professionals in these areas to meet other business and community leaders.
Approximately 200-300 young professionals are expected to attend the event, along with Ten at the Top board members and executives representing various Upstate businesses.
