Limestone University is celebrating its 2023 Homecoming with six fun-filled days that culminate with the Saints’ football game on Saturday, Oct. 21.
The Limestone football team will host Catawba College on the gridiron at 7 p.m. on October 21 and the game will have a “Blackout” theme. Limestone’s Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime. During the football game, there will be a special performance by cheerleading and dance team alumni.
Homecoming Week gets underway on Sunday, Oct. 15, with a Mega Karaoke event at 7 p.m. for students at the Granberry Amphitheatre. On Monday, Oct. 16, students can enjoy a Rock Painting event from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Hines & Riggins Center, and a Bowling Night for students will take place at the Big E with check-in starting at 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 17, will feature a Mega Bingo event for students at the Hines & Riggins Center beginning at 8:30 p.m.
The following day, students can take part in “What’s Up Wednesday” on the front campus from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A Stuff-A-Plush Adoption event for students will take place at the same time on the front campus. At 8 p.m., there will be Football Trivia for students at the Hines & Riggins Center.
A Homecoming Huddle for students will get underway on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m., on the front campus.
On Friday, Oct. 20, there will be front campus events for students from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. A Gameday Prep event for students runs from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Stephenson Dining Hall.
For alumni on Friday, a 50th Reunion Social will be held in the Curtis Building Formal Parlors beginning at 2 p.m.
Also on Friday, a ticketed Homecoming Reception for alumni, faculty, and staff will be inside the Hines & Riggins Center from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Order tickets HERE.
Homecoming Week athletic events include women’s soccer vs. Catawba at Saints Field at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18; a men’s lacrosse alumni game at Saints Field on Friday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m.; a women’s volleyball match against Lincoln Memorial University at the Timken Center at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20; and a field hockey game against Mount Olive University at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.
