"Saints Huddle With Coach Mike Furrey" Debuts On WZZQ & FloSports On September 6

With the Limestone University football season opener approaching on Thursday, Sept. 1, at Gardner-Webb, preparations are now underway for the debut edition of the "Saints Huddle With Coach Mike Furrey" show on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 12:30 p.m.

The 30-minute show, live from inside the Hines & Riggins Center, will air each week during the Limestone football season. Except for the first edition that is being postponed by a day because of the Labor Day holiday, "Saints Huddle" will take place the Monday following every game.

Each week, show host Dennis Fowler from WZZQ and Saints head football coach Mike Furrey will breakdown the most recent contest and then look ahead to the next opponent.

In addition to being live over the radio airwaves on WZZQ, "Saints Huddle" will be streamed on FloSports, the new exclusive digital platform of the South Athletic Conference (SAC) Live Digital Network. More details on FloSports are coming soon.

Limestone students, faculty, staff, and fans are invited out to each edition of "Saints Huddle" from inside the Hines & Riggins Center. Stay tuned for special promotions that will take place during each week's show. While enjoying "Saints Huddle" in-person, guests inside the Hines & Riggins Center are welcome to purchase food and beverages from Freshens and Café 1845.

"Saints Huddle" can be heard on WZZQ at 104.3 FM and at www.wzzqradio.com. WZZQ can also be heard on mobile devices through the TuneIn app. WZZQ will also carry the Saints Tailgate Show one hour prior to the kickoff of each Limestone home football game.
