Limestone University has announced the addition of two new Institutional Advancement staff members who will be working with alumni, Saints athletics fans, and donors.
Carleigh Ramsey, a 2016 Limestone Alumna, was recently named as Director of Alumni Engagement. In her new role, Ramsey will strategically engage the Limestone’s 20,000-plus alumni network that spans the United States and abroad. She will oversee securing commitments from alumni to provide professional expertise and volunteer service to the campus and its students; plan and implement a comprehensive program of activities that establishes and maintains relationships with alumni and the University; and provide tangible benefits to alumni and current students. She will also implement special events to recognize outstanding alumni.
Prior to her move as Director of Alumni Engagement, Ramsey served as the Director of the Saints Club for two years. She also served for two years as Advancement Services Coordinator and two years as an Administrative Assistant for Institutional Advancement.
After earning her undergraduate degree from Limestone in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology, Ramsey received her Master of Business Administration in Nonprofit Management from Wilmington University.
A native of Gaffney, Ramsey serves as an adjunct faculty member for Limestone’s freshman seminar class.
Teresa Baker, also a native of Gaffney, is moving into the role of Director of the Saints Club & Donor Relations after previously serving for two years with Online Advising and Graduate Programs at Limestone. She also served for three years in the Registrar’s Office. Baker also serves as adjunct faculty member for freshman seminar and transfer students.
A former cheerleader for the Saints, Baker graduated from Limestone with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management with a minor in Business. She earned her Master of Science in Higher Education with a concentration in Institutional Marketing and Enrollment Management from Walden University. She is currently pursing her Doctorate of Education in Professional Leadership at Converse University.
In her new role, Baker will oversee Limestone’s Saints Club, providing direction and coordination of fundraising strategies and stewardship for the booster club. She will also manage all Saints Club special events. In addition, Baker will work with other internal and external constituencies in areas of campaign strategies and prospect planning and activities.
“We are thrilled to have both Carleigh and Teresa taking on these new roles,” said Kelly Curtis, Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “They have been very successful in their previous roles at Limestone, and we know they are going to do an outstanding job for us moving forward. Both Carleigh and Teresa love this university, its alumni, its supporters, and its fans. We are eager to create new connections with Limestone’s alumni base and Saints fans to capitalize on our University’s forward momentum.”
